Groceries/Fuel: We are 30 minutes from major grocery stores and fuel centers. LaFollette and Jacksboro have several large grocery stores. You will pass these as you drive into LaFollette from Exit 134. If you choose to take the Jellico Exit #160, you will not pass any stores and will need to drive through LaFollette to Jacksboro.

Alcohol: Liquor is now available for sale in Campbell County. The Liquor Barn is located near Waffle House at 161 John McGee Blvd. Caryville. Beer and wine may be purchased in most grocery stores in LaFollette, small grocery stores and at many boat docks on the lake carry beer and wine coolers. Many of the marinas now can serve mixed drinks as well as our Tiki Club at Deerfield Cove Marina.

Trailer Parking: Trailers must be parked in the designated trailer parking area and display a trailer permit obtained before arrival from Deerfield Storage (423)494-6857. The Deerfield Resort does not own the Trailer Parking area. The Trailer Parking area permits boats and trailers only - no cars, trucks, RV's, etc. Permits must be displayed or trailer will be removed at owner's expense. Boat Slip Rentals: We now offer covered boat slips at Deerfield Cove Marina. These are very limited and must be reserved in advance. Contact Georgia by text at (423) 494-6857 or email

Boat Rentals: The following marinas close to Deerfield offer fuel and other services such as pontoons, ski boats, fishing boats or wave runners for rental: Shanghai Resort 423-562-7651 or Springs Dock 423-562-2405 FISHING LICENSES ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT MOST MARINAS - CAN BE PURCHASED AT WALMART.

Restaurants in Deerfield: The Green's Grill located inside the clubhouse at The Greens at Deerfield offers breakfast and lunch. Tiki Club located at the Deerfield Cove Marina - offers full service food and alcohol. The Tiki Club has a DJ or bands on most weekend. Both have seasonal hours of operation.

Restaurants in LaFollette: The Local (home cooked country food) - near Wendy's, China Dragon (buffet), El Pueblito (Mexican) by Food City, Charley's Pizza (pizza/buffet) near Walmart. In Caryville (Cove Lake State Park): The Ridge (Memphis style BBQ). LaFollette Town Center now offers on Central/Main Street - Common Grounds Coffee Shop, Master Donuts, On Tennessee Ave. - Katie's - great hamburgers and home style food and for those who really want a hole in the wall dining experience - try the Royal Palace. Every visit to this area should include McCloud Mountain Restaurant - Northeast of LaFollette. Now you can dine in style in the clouds overlooking the Valley. Golf Course: The Greens at Deerfield offers a beautiful 6800-yard championship course designed by Bobby Clampett. The course also features a driving range, practice greens, and pro shop.

DEERFIELD’S RECREATIONAL AMENITIES

Swimming Pools: Open Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. 10AM-9PM Daily. There is no lifeguard on duty. An adult must accompany children under 12 of age.

Tennis Courts: Daylight-Dark. It is not necessary to reserve court time. Furnish your own rackets & tennis balls.

Sand Volleyball: Daylight-Dark. Furnish your own volleyball.

Children's Playground: Open all year - Adult supervision required for youngsters less than 12 years of age.
